recently i watched the melancholy of haruhi suzumiya. i watched all of the tv series and the movie but i didnt watch the spin off. my favorite charater was yuki but i also really liked koizumi. honestly the entire anime was just very shocking. i couldnt expect anything that would happen next and it was very engaging. its kind of hard to talk abt haruhi without spoilers but as each episode went on and more charaters unloaded more information i just wondered how much was true. the world in haruhi suzumiya is so strange and theres so much time travel. i really enjoyed the movie. while i was watching it i was thinking to myself "wow this is just yuki fanservice" (its not rlly fanservice she just acts cute) and then it turns out thats what it is lolololol!!! not rlly but the movie is kind of just yuki's little fantasy vacation. i did not really mind the endless night saga (think thats what its called) and honestly i didnt even realize people thought so poorly about it until i looked on titok. basically the charatera are stuck in a loop that restarts on the last day of summer, traping them in an endless summer. the episodes are almost exactly the same for 8 episodes. i watched all of them without even thinking about it, i didnt even know this was a thing and whent in blind. i can see how someone watching haruhi air on tv would find this annoying though. imagine waiting a week for the new ep of the show you like only for it to be almost the exact same. and also this saga went from the end of s1 to the middle of s2 T-T. imagine ur favorite show ending s1 on a cliffhanger like being stuck in an infinite loop for up to 595 years and then s2 starts and theyre still in a loop. right ok.
acchi kocchi is my number one comfort anime and is easily my favorite anime ever. its a slice of life anime following a friend group of five people, mainly focusing on tsumiki and io. originally when i watched it it was on hulu but they took it off a while ago and now its fr fr not on anything besides like piracy websites so im trying to get it on dvd. i watched it when i was in like middle school and loved it so much it instantly set itself in my heart as a top tier series. the ost is so peak and i love all thhe arrow theme that show up in transitions
the ost is actually my favorite part about the series and is 100% the part of the anime that has stuck with me the most. i listen to it constantly and FUCHK ITS JUST SO GOOD ToT link to acchi kocchi ost my favortite charater is probably tsumiki but i love all of them fr. also in the anim two or three of the charaters Inexplicitly have cat ears???? not complaining but like is it just a fact of life that some people just have cat ears?? is this a different universe or smth
